One again the right of AMD! Following the trend of development of the Windows operating system is also a new 7 will use DirectX 11 technology, the new hardware is also required to provide support for these two technologies.

Although the new ATI 4870 ATI launched last year quite successfully complete with NVidia products. With the launch of Windows 7 and Direct!! On October 22 next, of course, AMD does not want to lose start by launching products that are ready to support the new technology with the Radeon 5800 series.

There are 2 types of Radeon HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5850 GPU that uses the same core that previously called Cypress.

These processors have 2:15 billion transistors, which is almost 3 times the number of transistors on Intel's Core i7 CPUs. Radeon 5870 running at 850 MHz clock and the Radeon 5850 at 725 MHz.

Radeon 5870 has 1600 stream processors and capable of promising performance of 2.72 teraflops making the greatest single GPU right now and will be sold at a price around 379 USD (3.7 million dollars). While 5850 has a Radeon 1440 stream processors and priced around 259 USD. Both are equipped with GDDR5 memory and uses 1Gb dual slot design.

Interesting and new is the facility from ATI called Eyefinity which allows the use of 3 monitors at once through just 1 video card. All cards on the 5800 series will have 2 dual-link DVI ports, HDMI and DisplayPort ports extraordinary even the next version is planned Eyefinity will support up to 6 monitors.

Intel officially introduced the Core i7 to a laptop portable computer aliases. Processor, codenamed Clarksfield is known as the fastest for mobile platforms.

Intel introduced the Core i7 family members the latest in Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in 2009 which was held in San Francisco, 22-24 September 2009. There are three variants of the Core i7 Intel introduced the show, Core i7 920XM, 820QM Core i7 and Core i7 720QM.

Shmuel "Mooly" Eden, Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Platforms Group, Intel Corporation, said Core i7 on the laptop for those who want high-performance computers to carry.

Recommended Core i7 mainstay for the laptop is Turbo Boost and Hyper-Threading. Turbo Boost allows the processor speed increases dramatically when there is a core that is not in use.

In a demonstration witnessed ITGazine, Intel Core i7 showed speed 2.0 GHz 920 XM can increase up to 3.0 GHz. Increased speed occurs in a batch process such as photo editing or other applications that run only one core.

Core i7 for mobile devices is part of the Nehalem microarchitecture which had already touched the line of desktops and servers.

In IDF Intel also demonstrated the next generation Core i7 Mobile. Microprocessor codenamed Arrandale it will be adopted Westmere microarchitecture and 32nm production process.

Acer Aspire 4540 Review

Acer Aspire 4535 heyday seems to have ended because of the arrival of acer aspire 4540. Laptop armed by AMD Turion X2 M500 II is believed to exceed the performance of its predecessor Turion X2 RM-75. But after a search browse this virtual world, there is no such fundamental differences of both. Physically, both are different. Turion X2 RM-75 using socket AM2 while the Turion X2 II M500 using socket AM3. To measure FSB, both still in the 800MHz level. Both have also been HyperTransport facility that allows data transfer faster. So, indirectly, can not so obvious difference in the processor.

But there is a difference in RAM. Acer 4535 still uses DDR2 memory, Acer 4540 and has had a DDR3 slot that must prevail in the case of RAM frequency. This frequency difference which seems to be a fairly subtle distinction.

From the display, Acer Aspire has the ATI HD4200 256 MB Radean which is more superior than the ATI Radeon HD 3200 256MB. HD 4200 has a pixel shader launched bigger so it can display the sharper the image and not shadowed for high-resolution graphics. Perhaps this excess of the 4540 side which became mainstay.

In terms of price, the price of Acer Aspire 4540 range was opened at a cheaper price than the Acer Aspire 4535.
